Collective Impact

Collective impact is a collaborative approach to solving complex problems by bringing together diverse groups who share a common goal. Key aspects include a shared vision, coordinated efforts, and open communication, all supported by a central coordinating body. The aim is to create large-scale, lasting change that no single organization could achieve alone.

LCRF has four Collective Impact Committees working on short term collaborative projects

What We’re Doing Together

The Resource Mapping Committee is systematically identifying and connecting with every organization in Louisiana involved in reproductive and sexual health, justice, and advocacy, using a public health approach. The collected data will be compiled into a pioneering, comprehensive database, exclusive to LCRF members and accessible on our members-only website, The Hub. Members will be able to leverage this database to forge new partnerships and expand their statewide influence.

The Member Analysis Committee is actively assessing all 80+ LCRF member organizations with the goal of integrating them into the same comprehensive database mentioned above. They are also engaging with members to understand their needs and resources, thereby enhancing our mutual aid program. This in-depth understanding of our members is crucial for providing effective aid and technical assistance, especially after the significant 230% growth LCRF experienced in 2024 by incorporating the Louisiana Adolescent Reproductive Health Coalition.

Our Member Benefits Committee collaborates closely with LCRF staff to ensure all members receive valuable resources.Current membership benefits include complimentary access to fundraising software, free coaching on healing justice and liberation, and technical assistance provided by experienced nonprofit and business consultants, among other advantages.

The Legislative Strategy Committee meets throughout the year, but is especially active during Louisiana's annual Legislative Session. This committee is for member organizations dedicated to advocating for bodily autonomy through changes in state-level policies.
